After a regular role on "The Originals" , Black returned to series television in the thriller "Containment" The exotic-looking brunette who could project both the strength and elegance of her appearance, Australian actress Claudia Black was a hit with fans due to her role in the co-starring series as Aeryn Sun an air force pilot with commando training to keep her mood at bay, in "Farscape" (Sci-Fi channel from 1999 to 2003). Black, a Sydney born performer was crowned the winner of the Globe Shakespeare Competition in 1990 and has toured Europe with her character Portia in the play "The Merchant of Venice."
